atm cave tour

If time permits, we also do a combo tour of the ATM + Cave Tubing or Xunantunich or Cahal Pech Maya Archeological sites. The ATM cave system is roughly a 45 minute hike through the jungle. We cross two rivers (up to your neck). Arriving at the entrance of the cave, your guide goes through a standard breifing on safety procedures and regulations. Entering the caves to explore you will see stalactites, stalagmites and columns. Further in, you will see ancient artifacts; such as potteries and human remains.

If your package is a combo, we will then head to the second leg of your tour. Example: cave tubing, we will head over the Jaguar Paw. We will hike for about 45 minutes to an hour in the jungle. We will then gear up and tube back down the river that runs through the cave system.
