MONKEY RIVER TOUR

Before heading up the river, we stop at the village at the entrance and pick up a local guide, so as to support the local community. We then cruise for about 45 minutes, looking for wildlife, such as Toucans and other bird species.  About 5 miles up the river, while on a nature walk, you will get a good chance to see the Black Howler Monkeys. On the way back to Placencia, we stop to look for the West Indies Manatees.
